First Class Pet

Being a classroom pet can be stressful for a mammal and animal charities recommend that they are not kept in schools anymore. However there are lots of invertebrates that make an equally fascinating teaching resource that can help teach science, responsibility and a better understanding of the importance of mini-beasts in nature. They are great at reception, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5. They can be fantastic for mini-beast topics, classification, variation, animal topics, rainforest topics even an entomology society (bug club).

First Class Pet

Currently we have set-up's for Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches and giant African Snails. These amazing animals make a fantastic addition to any classroom and fit perfectly into all minibeasts topics. To learn more about them visit our cockroach page and our snail page.
